About Me
I’m a planner, researcher, and data-driven problem solver who helps organizations navigate complexity and create meaningful impact.
My approach is both analytical and people-centered: I believe the best strategies are grounded in evidence, shaped by real-world experience, and tailored to each client’s unique goals. I combine rigorous analysis with deep listening, helping organizations turn insight into action.
Before launching Zohn Advisors, I served as Vice President of Learning and Impact at the Knight Foundation, where I led strategy, research, and learning initiatives across the foundation. My work included overseeing foundation-wide planning efforts, evaluating the effectiveness of multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, and advancing Knight’s research and thought leadership—including through the Pew-Knight Initiative and a national research series on diversity in asset management.
Earlier in my career, I worked at FEMA, where I used data to inform disaster response operations and led high-profile after-action reviews following major natural disasters, including Sandy (2012) and Harvey, Irma, and Maria (2018). These efforts helped shape future agency strategy.
Across philanthropy and government, my work has always centered on translating complex information into smart, actionable decisions that drive long-term success. I bring particular expertise in:
Strategic and operational planning
Organizational learning and evaluation
Data-driven decision support
Resilience and change management
Based in Coral Gables, Florida, I work with clients across the country. I’ve lived and worked in Boston and Washington, DC, and maintain strong connections in New York, Seattle, and the Bay Area. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me exploring Miami’s vibrant arts and culture scene, planning my next travel adventure, or visiting my niece and nephew in Jacksonville.
